Is 420 horsepower confirmed for the police Charger?

Not as a final PPV rating. Dodge officially rates the civilian 2027 Charger R/T at 420 hp and 468 lb-ft from its 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six. MoparInsiders reports that the Daytona display car is R/T-based and uses that standard-output engine. Until Dodge publishes a police specification, the accurate phrasing is: 420 hp is the civilian R/T reference and the likely show-car tune—not a confirmed production-PPV output.

AWD is reported as the intended standard configuration, but final PPV details are not yet published. The new Charger’s large rear opening creates a different packaging problem than the outgoing sedan’s isolated trunk.
